On Road Procedures

This section gives drivers advice on how to handle commonly occurring on-road incidents safely.  Click on each Download File and learn about your responsibilities and practices to ensure everyone stays safe.  Find useful information relating to  breakdowns, road rage; accidents/reporting, phone usage and tyre blowouts. 

1. HH On Road Procedures & Policies:  Driver Responsibilities

2.  Accidents/Incident Reporting:  

1. Ring 000 if necessary
2. Put out triangles and turn on hazard lights
3. Take photos:  damage to their vehicle & ours;  their license details (front & back);  rego of their vehicle & phone number
4. Ask for their address (check if the same as on their license)
5. Take names & phone number of witnesses
6. Ring Geoff 0412 722 533 and advise if tow truck is required.
7. Record details of what occurred on Accident Report asap.
